Pearl’s stunt was part of the school’s AUSPYs, which is an annual awards ceremony hosted by Auburn’s athletic department that’s a play off of ESPN’s ESPYs award show.
He and Tigers’ women’s soccer coach Karen Hoppa went toe-to-toe in a lip sync battle. Pearl’s song of choice was Swift’s earworm “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” while Hoppa opted for the Bon Jovi oldie “You Give Love a Bad Name.”
