Cleveland coach Mike Pettine as of Thursday afternoon wasn’t sure who he’d start. He said McCown would be the guy if able, according to ESPN.

After McCown was injured in the first quarter of last week’s 31-10 loss in New York, Manziel sparked the offense with a 54-yard touchdown pass before struggling the rest of the game against a tough Jets defense. He completed 13 of 24 passes for 182 yards with a touchdown, an interception and two fumbles.

Mariota led his Titans to a Week 1 win over Jameis Winston’s Buccaneers with a “perfect” performance.
