Osweiler, who helped the Broncos to the Super Bowl last season, bolted for Houston (and $72 million, half of it guaranteed) in free agency this offseason.

“There’s no ill will toward Brock. I am happy he got paid,” Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall said Tuesday, via Denver television station KMGH. “But it’s competition. We want to kill him.”
The layers of the story: Osweiler led Denver to a 5-2 mark in 2015 after Peyton Manning was hurt. Osweiler wasn’t happy when the Broncos turned to Manning during last season’s playoff run. Manning retired. Osweiler left. The Broncos were in a bind at quarterback.
Osweiler’s first season in Houston has been rocky. In fact, had he not led the Texans to a come-from-behind win Sunday against the Colts, critics would be calling for his job.

Now? Let’s just say the Broncos are eager to see him in the Texans lineup.
“He’s a gunslinger. He’s also forcing a lot of throws. We know that he left us,” defensive back Chris Harris Jr. said. “It’s going to be great. I am pretty sure that he wants to win, and we want to beat him bad and get a lot of interceptions.”
