The Broncos dropped to 0-3 in 2019 after Sunday’s 27-16 loss to the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field.

Wide receiver Sanders – who finished with just two catches for 10 yards – was asked about Denver’s struggles when he met with reporters after the game.

“Times are rough around here,” Sanders said. “Obviously, the past three years — it’s been tough. Trying to get it right.

“We sit at 0-3. We’re living in a world of suck. Football is still fun, but it’s not so much fun when you’re losing, especially when you prepare as hard as you can, you go out and have four targets, two catches and 10 yards. But there’s always next week, so I’m optimistic.”

Broncos quarterback Joe Flacco completed 20 of his 29 passes for 213 yards with an interception against Green Bay, while Courtland Sutton finished with a team-high five receptions for 87 yards. Phillip Lindsay rushed for Denver’s only two touchdowns in the loss.

The Broncos will face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 4. They last made the playoffs in 2015.
